10-Day Sri Lanka Highlights Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival | Colombo Airport → Negombo
Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your personal chauffeur guide from Eyvis Tours. After a short drive to Negombo, you can relax at your hotel or take a leisurely stroll along the beach, enjoying your first taste of Sri Lanka’s coastal charm.

Day 2 – Negombo → Kandy
After breakfast, travel to the cultural capital of Kandy, nestled among picturesque hills. Visit the sacred Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and explore the Secret Tooth Relic Museum to learn about the fascinating history of one of Buddhism’s most revered treasures. In the evening, enjoy a captivating Kandyan Cultural Dance Performance featuring traditional music, fire walking, and vibrant local dances.

Day 3 – Day Excursion to Nuwara Eliya
Today, embark on a scenic journey through Sri Lanka’s beautiful hill country to Nuwara Eliya, often called “Little England.” Along the way, visit a tea plantation and tea factory to discover how the world-famous Ceylon Tea is produced, admire breathtaking waterfalls, and enjoy the cool mountain climate before returning to Kandy in the evening.

Day 4 – Kandy → Matale → Dambulla → Habarana
Leave Kandy after breakfast and stop at a traditional spice garden in Matale, where you will learn about Sri Lanka’s renowned spices and Ayurvedic herbs. Continue to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Dambulla Cave Temple before heading to either Minneriya National Park or Hurulu Eco Park for an exciting jeep safari, with the park selected according to the seasonal movement of wild elephants. After the safari, continue to Habarana for the night.

Day 5 – Sigiriya & Ayurveda Experience
Rise early to climb the magnificent Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress and enjoy spectacular panoramic views from the summit. Following your exploration of this historic kingdom, continue your journey to the pristine beaches of Pasikudah, famous for its calm turquoise waters and golden sandy coastline.

After checking out from your beach resort, travel across the island to Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest and one of its oldest national parks. Upon arrival, you may choose to enjoy an optional evening jeep safari, offering an excellent opportunity to spot leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and a wide variety of birdlife.

Begin the day with an early morning safari in Wilpattu National Park, when wildlife is most active and the chances of memorable sightings are at their highest.
